About the Academy Trust

We are the first group of Catholic schools considering moving forward with the blessing of the Diocese of Leeds into becoming a Multi-Academy Trust.

The partnership may eventually hopefully involve all 16 Catholic Primary, High School and Sixth Form Colleges in our locality who will be fostering links and sharing resources to proceed into this venture as equals and as one collective unit.

The schools listed below have been allowed to explore the possibilities of becoming a group which will form the first Catholic Multi-Academy Trust (CMAT) of schools in the Leeds Diocese.  The area concerned encompasses from Garforth all the way east over to Carlton and to Goole; then South to Hemsworth and Moorthorpe, back West to Wakefield, Horbury and Ossett and finally back North to include Rothwell.

We have a vision for Catholic education that goes beyond individual schools and changes our perception from ‘my’ school, to ‘our’ schools. The challenge for us all is: how can we share our gifts and talents to ensure the education for all of our children is outstanding.
